Our Story
Don't worry - more info coming soon!

It all started with the decades long slow decline and eventual closure of The Falls Cinema during the Covid-19 pandemic. Susy had for years lamented over the theatre and the adjacent building which had been unoccupied since 2007. “How nice it would be to fix them up and restore the theatre and have an adjacent restaurant “, she said.
And so it went on to fruition with the restoration of the 1933 Art Deco newly named The Falls Theatre and the opening of Ciao Thyme restaurant in downtown Little Falls, MN in the autumn of 2023.
The Ciao Thyme building was most recently Bookin It book store which sadly closed almost two decades ago. The building also housed a small third screen of the theatre in the southern section and the book store in the northern part with its cute bunny rabbit living in the back room ( now apply named The Rabbit Room).
Our hope was to bring another good restaurant to town to complement our downtown offerings. Ciao Thyme’s stylish, modern design with a full bar offering speciality drinks, 12 beer taps and experienced bartenders has been a go to spot since opening.
The restaurant , with its 6ft tall, 5,000lb wood fired pizza oven serves up tantalizing recipes ranging from Italian American specialties, mouth watering pizzas, gourmet main courses and a wide variety of other offerings for every tastebud.
Ciao Thyme Woodfire Kitchen is open Monday through Saturday for lunch and dinner.
Susy and Phil Prosapio and the wonderful staff welcome you to Ciao Thyme!
